Lake Huron Medical Center (LHMC) is pleased to announce its April 2018 Employee of the Month, Melane Kerry, and its April 2018 Volunteer of the Month, Helen Stokes. LHMC is honored to have a strong team of staff and volunteers working hard to deliver high-quality care to the Blue Water Area.
Melane is an Occupational Therapist and has been with LHMC since February 2015. Nominated by her peers, they commented, “Melane is an extraordinary employee and deserves recognition for simply being a wonderful employee and strong patient advocate. She generates enthusiasm and energy that goes above and beyond all expectations. She is kind and compassionate and I am thankful to have such a dedicated employee on our team!”
Helen has been volunteering at LHMC since 2014 as a courier at the front desk. She was nominated by a fellow volunteer who noted, “Helen is so friendly, bubbly and warm. She makes those around her feel valuable and her infectious smile makes everyone feel good.”
